Praki Prakash: I made a new batch and tried another face joint. After 24 hours, it's as good as one solid piece! Thanks for the link. My first batch wouldn't form those silky threads. The second batch was fine and I think the difference between the two batches was the temp. I got the second batch hotter than the first and ensured that the glue was at least 140F. My first batch of glue probably reached only 120F. Now that I seem to have figured it out, I can try some real joints! Thanks!
