arcadegamer117: Suuuuuper awsome! thanks dude way better and cooler than all the other
jakelxxx12121212: wtf weird ass materials
Joel C: This is the best video I have seen so far but where the heLL will I get a
Hacksaw?!?! And can you show the process of heating it with a hair dryer?
Adrian Campos: LEFTY!!!! :)
Manuel Gomez: hey dude , so your tellin me it will still work even if my hand is touching
the tape and not touching the metal ???
13ojangles: you found all that at a dollar store, damn America, you too cool
Briandl1979: Nobody said it was a dollar stylus, rather a stylus made using items from
the dollar store.
Briandl1979: Yes that's correct. I guess it's just like if you put a screen protector on
your device, there's something between you and the device but it still
works. The electrical tape doesn't interfere with the stylus operation.
Sam Sherman: voicecrack @ 1:52
Manuel Gomez: hey , is there any other material that i could use instead of the metal
tube from the umbrella???
Briandl1979: Don't talk about my wife that way!
Allysa Smith: It's not called an itouch, it's called an iPod touch
John Doe: Unnecessarily complicated. Just use a regular pencil with eraser top and
wrap in aluminum foil.
southernDJ803: LOL I have the same scissors and im missing the red dot to cover the screw
Briandl1979: Yeah like I said, I made this video well over a year ago, and I can
guarantee you that you couldn't find a capacitive stylus as easily as you
can now, because at that time the iPad hadn't even been out a year yet, and
not that many people use a stylus for their phones. Now everyone and their
mother has an iPad and now you can find a stylus everywhere. Plus now you
have Android devices to use them with, and those have been out an even
Briandl1979: Which is better?
Hargun Khanna: I <3 his handwriting!!
Briandl1979: Whatever it is it needs to be metal to conduct the charge. Could be covered
in foil, or have a piece of metal wrapped around it. The best bet is a
metal tube, from a pen or a paint brush or something like that.
URban BeATS: u r going to need a unbrella a pen ,electrcal, tape, wire a dinosour a baby
two frogs legs and a hacksaw
1arsion: hey forever alone, watch your mouth. what i do to u asshole?
NouNiels: Best tut. i'v seen ;)
1arsion: and after all those decoration, the pen doesn't work, does it?
Jaybeatsz Silva: word i aint know bout to hit that up
michael hartman: "your gonna need to pull it hard to get it off" thats what she said
southernDJ803: eeeeh...if you are trying to make a stlyus dont do this one....look at the
videos on the right and there are some that are 10 times better than this.
chancey1979: geeze u can get 4 yes 4 stylus pens on ebay for $1.79 with free ship
Steven Weisenburger: Or... you can buy a real sylus pen for $2.39 saving both money and time.
where? Get one at mini in the box dot com
znaszlisiora: Oh, it's an iPad stylus so it won't work on my phone ;_; ...iDiots.
Briandl1979: As far as I know your body carries an electric charge, the metal transfers
that to the sponge and then to the screen. The plastic doesn't seem to
interfere but it isn't necessary either. For obvious reasons metal carries
the electrical charge, and the sponge does as well, I'm not sure why
nightseeker91: this was very helpful thank you very much, do you think it will work for
the samsung galaxy s3?
Briandl1979: There isn't much to see when heating with a hair dryer, you just point it
at the tip until it shrinks, like any shrink wrap. A pencil probably
wouldn't conduct an electrical charge very well, and aluminum would
probably scratch the screen. And yes a stylus is only ten bucks and a lot
more readily available nowadays, but when I made this video (Over a year
ago) a stylus for a capacitive touch screen wasn't as readily available
locally. This should work on any capacitive screen device.
Briandl1979: I must be related to Robin Williams.
156Erica: I made one a bit different
southernDJ803: dont get all butt hurt youngin....you are not the only one doing this
JustinsUploads: so u spent 5 dollars on a dollar stylus?
Uriah kuper: Does it have to be aluminum
Betsy Frost: I have to give this guy credit. He is bright and he does know what he is
doing. I actually tried his method an it worked. Then a friend told me of
STYLUS-R-US and let me use hers for a day. That was all it took to see,
there is nothing like the Stylus-R-Us stylus. No skipping. No dragging. No
pressure. Check them out at stylusrusDOTnet
Briandl1979: I guess you missed the part of the video where I use the pen :)
Dylan Putnam: Hairy ass arms
Bakercray: Pretty nice, thanks
4u25out: I bought stylus from eBay total cost .99cents shipping include.
jess raa: you sir a stupid fool, and to think that you should of mature already, have
you ever bought a 2.39 stylus that works? because last time i check even
the 25 dollar ones skip, and this one doesnt. so shut your freaking mouth
before bashing on the greates DIY styles pen on the entire universe of
Littlebowz: Thx soooo much !!!!
Nicholas x: Cool! it looks good too! Thanks for the tut. regards,
Briandl1979: Ten times better? lol.
