As the population of hammockers ages, I think bridge hammocks will just increase in popularity. I am near age 70 and have some physical challenges. Gathered end hammocks can be a challenge to get in and out, and to have a full night's rest. I own 8 gathered end hammocks, ranging from inexpensive to pricey. I recently purchased a Warbonnet Ridgerunner Bridge hammock, absolutely love it and will never return to gathered end versions, at least when I want to spend the entire night in one.
