TheWilliam TV: I felt like you sided with the Elgato more
Ben Phillips: You didn't really give the HD PVR a fair shake in this. First: You put it up against a device with HDMI inputs. HDMI is just a naturally better connector than Component. HDMI is always going to look slightly better, because of that the whole video is a forgone conclusion from the word "go". Second: You didn't even use the best connectors to get the best quality out of the PVR. The reason you have ghosting on your PS3 gameplay is because you're using cheap Component cables. If you unplug the red and white cables and used an optical audio cable not only would it remove the ghosting and give you better PQ, but you'd also get better sounding audio.
AeroForceOne: Elgato is better, but really who will notice the slight color saturation difference, and if you are doing commentary, who really is paying too much attention to the sound?
SpiderKidoesMinecraft (SpiderKidDoesGameing): more like SD pvr
Baldur Pálmason: Elgato is much better
CookieMonsterrHD: should i pay like 50 more $ for elgato :3?
Tedward : How come you didn't try Hauppauge Capture? The one for the HD PVR 2. I have the HD PVR 1212 and it supports Hauppauge Capture AND Arsoft Total Media EXTREME its a lot better too! You can edit your videos in it and change the file size limit. So yeah similar but more features in newer software
JWR xPopShoTzzZ: Elgato, nice job
The RS Guy: Was that an hdpvr 1 or 2?
Zewhy: I would recommend a Elgato ...
Jacob Mogensen: this is the first PVR right? not the second one
Mac: Very well done
T5: Will it still work on my Windows 7 computer? Processor: Intel Core Duo CPU 2.93 GHz 2.94 GHz RAM(Random Access Memory): 8.00 GB Rating Processor: 6.5 Memory: 6.5 Graphics: 4.4 Gaming Graphics: 3.5 (Yikes) Primary Hard Disk: 5.9 Please tell my if this is enough.
Ghost2341000: I have a GC1000 :/
lindex king: the color doesnt matter, because you'll probably have to color correct it anyway
Honky's Allerlei: @JAMESKNOWSGAMES. haha me too. Now I am sure what I want for christmas very good video
Treuze Bits: Helpfull, thanks man! :)
JAMESKNOWSGAMES: Thanks for doing this comparison video, I know what I want for Christmas now. ELGATO!
TheBumRumz: I'm getting a HD PVR, because it's the only game capture device my CPU can handle. I have Intel i3 Processor @ 2.30ghz so I can't even use the Elgato, HPVR2, & the Roxio HD.
Elgato Game Capture VS Hauppauge HD PVR REVIEW5
out of 5
Fabricio Suzuki: My favorite is toronto Sight Oreg: Its not 100 per watt. Its aprox 100 per light. npgSymboL: I seriously think I could pull a better interview Watch Ryder: Nice bit of kit, but I don't like the magazine release (Heel / Euro style?). Good capacity of .22WMR is the buzz! Trigger looks a little sloppy too being striker fired, but I'm only assuming that, maybe its a good trigger? Michael Huth: You can't use ELSAs driver with any card, but later NVidia offered a 3D Stereo Add-On to their drivers that supports also the Elsa Revelator glasses. It works up to Geforce Series 7 as Geforce 7950GX2 f.e. Suprateeka T: How do uou know it is not X-linked dominant? pramath belakere: this or hp pavilion 15 ab549tx??
