Did this video help you?

Pieter Jooste: Ok, you missed something. Do you put the camera on auto or manual shooting mode before you take the picture?

The Max Show: So helpful!

afz kom: Works perfectly fine with a white paper!

Ian Arcos: gracias, buen video, ahora me quedo bien claro, saludos from Chile

Team Solo Feed: You channel is so similar to DSRLguide , but thanks :3

Elf Toy Tester: Thanks for the video! What do you have your top setting on the camera??? Not auto obviously, but what??

Joe Malham: Thanks for sharing

ArmadilloPepper.com: Really appreciate this instruction. I have the T6i and all of pics taken of my saltwater corals always had a blue hue. I just used this technique by placing a white piece of plastic (instead of the paper) inside my tank, took the pic to set the manual white balance and now my coral and fish pics look awesome. Thanks!

Ohh Susanna: Thank you!!

pentachronic: I've got to add a comment here. Using Magic Lantern allows you to set the white balance colour temperature to anything you want. This means that you can dial in the color temperature to match your environment. None of this messing with one option for custom white balance. AFAIK the custom white balance takes an evaluative color temperature of your white card and then sets a color temperature accordingly. However with ML you can dial it in just as the high-end cameras do. Typically indoor settings are set to 3500K and then you adjust in Post as needed.
Read up on color temperatures if you'd like to understand it a bit better.

Anklepants Skate Zine: So, do I need to select a certain white balance to use to take the photo of the white card? This has always confused me.

Daniel Rosa: Thank you for all the trouble! It was worth it for way more people than you imagine.

JfromWI414: Awesome. Thanks for this video!

Jim Hinson: Dam! I always wanted my Knipex to do this like my cheap Irwins did...wish I woulda waited!

Bas van der Meij: This has been my phone for 2 years now, time to replace it though.
The phone was great and survived a lot. I am not too happy about the Windows Phone OS though, but that is not Huawei's fault. I'm going back to android! :D
