Anklepants Skate Zine: So, do I need to select a certain white balance to use to take the photo of the white card? This has always confused me.
Daniel Rosa: Thank you for all the trouble! It was worth it for way more people than you imagine.

gaia35: ok so i pressed the Q button and something else accidentally and now i have that white magnifying box or "focus box" how do i get rid of it? it wasn't there before and it is now there has to be a way to of removing it.
RB Gamer: When I record it is very yellowish, will this help?
tony sisson: You have to set the setting to custom white balance BEFORE you set the custom white balance with the test shot. Not AFTER.
Beauty Geek: This is probably a dumb question, but if I did this to my camera would that help warm up my video quality? Lately I feel like it's too cool. I'm not sure if it's just a setting on my camera or what. I have the t5i, but I'm assuming they are nearly identical.
Stemprehention5929: It didn't work for me my custom white balance came out green looking. Getting really frustrated
Cathy Speronis: Thanks for the help! Worked like a charm! :)
John Donovan: Thanks dude! I do have a t3i and this definitely helped. I had it down for the most part but I would always forget a minor step along the way then thought I screwed it up because it "had" to be more complicated than that. Anywho, works for me now, I use a white piece of cardboard instead of an actual white balance board and all is good in the neighborhood. Thanks for taking the time to help those like me!
Thomas McCoy: thanks, great video, and to the point
