John Leonidas: The Lancer SE is a good car. I would say it could use a higher mpg and lighter weight. The one thing that it has going for it is the horsepower... However, while I appreciate a manual.... I find it easier to use a dual clutch in a highly populated area with stop and go traffic... it does not offer a dual clutch transmission that most manufacturers offer today. Oh wait that is only the US market... CANADA offers the Lancer SE with a dual clutch. The insurance, gas and Five year overall cost is higher on a Lancer than an Impreza. What it comes down to is an Impreza as you can have the best of both with a lower overall cost.
buildmorefarms100: Subaru has 20 less horsepower. Lancer has much longer warranty.
Dweebix:2:35 only available in black cloth? That looks grey to me..

Jake McCrary: They still make this car?
azn2mouse: Get a Subaru. Same price as the Impreza, 4WD all the time, and more fuel efficient.
jvrdlc: Horrible cheap car
PussMag: get yourself a Nice Subaru for the same price
Dark0blivion: mpgomatic--how is fuel economy rated on vehicles that have three different modes (2WD, 4WD, 4WD-Lock)? Is the rating an average of all three or does it assume 2WD performance?
sourov hossain: Always I love this car
