Cathal Looby: This does indeed work. Tried it out myself recently, but after a couple of
days it started flashing again. I think this method only works to mask the
problem you are having with the airbag. And doesn't actually fix the
problem. I think it is best to bring your car to a trusted repair center,
and have it looked at by a professional mechanic in my opinion.
cz4hlz: Hi Martin; it worked in my 2007 Nissan Sentra. Thanks for sharing this tip.
Joan Hancock: My airbag light on my 2010 Rogue had been flashing for almost two months.
When I took it in for oil change and tire rotation, the mechanic checked it
and much to my dismay, he told me that two codes came up that indicated the
airbag module was open and to see if it would be covered under the warranty
because it's $1,000 to fix it. Nissan's warranty includes the airbags as
part of the drive train and my mileage exceeded the warranty. I tried my
extended warranty company and they don't cover airbags. I did a little
Google search, found this fix, did it 10 mins ago and VOILA!!!! It's
fixed!! No more blinking light!! I'm so happy that I had to share! :-D
Alesia Robertson: Oh many thanks, the dealer most likely has known of this fix, and it was
going to cost us 1500.00 We are going to open the wine bottle tonight,
thanks to you.
Ron Jeremy: Another cool fix is when the check engine light comes on, just put a piece
of electrical tape over it, then NO more check engine light.
XiseTK: This video is terrible, you are making these idiots think there airbags are
miraculously fixed by cycling a key on/off...GUESS WHAT?? IF YOU GET INTO A
WRECK THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY!! Bad taste dude, are you trying to kill
off a bunch of morons by making them think this fixes their airbags?
kevin jack: Worked on my 2002 Nissan Frontier 2.4 liter. Thank you so much!!!

LuisitoAbutin: thank you, I cleaned my car seat and had to take out the seats and
unplugged the harnesses underneath the seats, when I put the seats back on
and put the harnesses back the airbar light stayed on the dashboard, I was
going to bring my car to the dealership but saw your video and decided to
try it first and it did work, thanks bro.
Charlie Atkins: This is called "putting the system into diagnosis mode"
1. The air bag light should come ON for about 7 seconds. As soon at the
airbag light goes out, turn the ignition switch OFF right away (within 1
second after the SRS light goes OFF). Wait at least 3 seconds and turn the
key back ON. Wait for the airbag light to go out and as soon at the airbag
light goes out, turn the ignition switch OFF right away again. Wait at
least 3 seconds and turn the key back ON. Wait for the airbag light to go
out and as soon at the airbag light goes out, turn the ignition switch OFF
right away again. Wait at least 3 seconds and turn the key back ON and
watch the airbag light flashing codes.
2. If getting a no malfunction detected code in diagnosis mode (airbag
light flashing 3 seconds ON and 2 seconds OFF repeating), clear codes by
repeating the procedure in step 1.
If the airbag control unit detects a malfunction, the airbag light will
come ON for 7 seconds and then flash fast (about every 0.5 seconds)
indicating a malfunction. You need to go into diagnosis mode to check codes
manually. Even if the problem is intermittent and the problem is not there
right now, the airbag light will still flash fast until you go into
diagnosis mode and check codes.

Hamid G Afgun: I tried this method on my bmw 323i 2000 and it didnt work so im guessing
its only for nissans or I didnt follow the instruction properly please pm
me if this worked for any other cars aside from nissans
Dave Channel: A flashing airbag light means an intermittent problem with the SRS system.
When you do the trick with your key it just tells the computer : I have
resolve the problem, please check if its OK.
The computer ( BCM ) will do several test when you will drive the vehicule
and if it detect again the problem, the light will come back.
( Most of the time, its some loose connectors or something similar )
