Nixon Chan: thanks, l did that, my note 2 is still so slow, MY 16GB is full l think, as
when access my camera it says it will use the external card as insufficient
l also get a warning window "there is not enough space (100MB) in your
device memory. delete some files" will deleting those files mean l will
have a faster note 2. currently its like pressing the icon and waiting for
~2 seconds before anything happens :( l tried uninstall some apps as well,
any other tricks l can do to speed it up?
Lolly Parker: After 2014 update: Settings > about phone. Scroll down to the build number
and tap it seven times. It will unlock the developer options.
Jenna MacPhee: My phone was getting ridiculously slow and this has helped so much. Thank
Mark Faxon: The download speeds on my note 2 are terrible, I've got a cheap allatel one
touch that blows it out the water
Ramesh Darapu: Thank you, this helped me a lot :)

Kimberly Pruitt: Thank you Rajender!!! That did it!
Question, have you noticed issues with S Beam since the updated? Also, can
the Note 2 send handwritten text messages? Not the handwriting to text, but
actual handwritten texts? The Note 3 can. .. Just wondering about the N2.
amal issa: Thanxxxx i turned all 3 off awesome!

Milkerz5: Who's Mike?
Roberto Torres: Mike I noticed that in my note 2 by the 3g area thers like a circle icon
can u please tell me wht that is asap thanks
craig casey: Sweet tip, it worked!!!
MSB: I have no galaxy note but I favorite this vid, just in case I might get
lucky if I ever get him lol
christopherpinili23: Thanks for the tip. It really speed up my unit. Thanks again.
Mobasher Helmy: didn't help with the lock screen. same lag
Mandeep bedi: worked thanks.
Carl Jhonson: What's those features do ?
mike zoltek: animation does not equal "loading", its not the phone running slow... it's
just the animation
Benswan187: Thanks! You can also turn off the double tap home button to launch S voice.
S voice/menu button/settings/open via the home key, untick it. It will
dramatically speed up the process of leaving an app via the home button.
mikeph4: could you possibly upload a video showing the lockscreen options?
Milkerz5: I filmed this video first but thanks for watching I love you too x
Milkerz5: Hi thanks for your comment, I just used messaging as the example in this
video, I could have used any application on there. I really like the phone
Anthony Or: thanks for your sharing :)
Nosrej Chaokad: Even its quad core this phone is sometimes slow.. I have a note2 n7100
c00kiez22: Great video, but all you had to do was answer the question, you are aware
its you he's referring to.....
Kevin McKean: Awesome!
Fernando Ferreira: Note 2, slow and sluggish?! If you own one or play around with one?! Dude,
you have to be stoned.
Rahul R: Hello Milkerz.. These three animation options in my phone are greyed off..
do i have to switch on the 'developer options' as soon as i get into the
page at top right? if so, it throws an error that, " These settings are
intended for development only. They can cause your device and the
applications on it to break or misbehave". Is it ok to click 'ok' and then
reduce or switch off the animation effects? Please advise... Thanks in
kerempekcabuk: You made the test wrong. If you enter Messaging app and then quit, it is
loaded to memory. So even if you didn't close the animations, you can enter
the messaging app faster. Please make a better test. I think Note 2 is the
best smart phone in the market but in fact the software is not optimised as
well as S3. Note 2 has a lot of lags "not just home screen lag". You can
watch other videos to see them.
durumroll: Dam! You're getting alot of crap for this video ! Well let me just say, it
works like a charm and it speeds up the phone a whole lot! -Nice vid,
Thumbs up from here!
Milan Marinkovic: Do not believe it is so slow with all that animation.. must be some kind of
mistake.. Like ur video and effort though..
Milkerz5: This was brand new today and I filmed this and uploaded straight to YouTube
with no editing - how can it be a mistake?
redball81: I followed your instructions, but when I got to "Developer options," I had
to turn the options on using the slide button at top. That's when my phone
told me something very scary: "These settings are intended for development
use only. They can cause errors to occur on your device and with the
applications on it." Errors? Please help! What's this all mean and how
shall I proceed?
AwarenessForex: You forgot to add the following to get rid of ALL of the lock screen
animation lag. To get rid of the lock screen swipe-to-unlock animation lag,
go to Settings > Lock Screen > Lock Screen Options > Uncheck "ripple
effect" option. This will speed up the swipe a noticeably more than when
the ripple effect is active.
Ted Bloomquist: Thank you muchly, it's running quick now.
poshpantspaddy: Great tip thanks. Are you doing a full review of the Note 2?
SplitFaction: Cheers. It really helped. Did this on my HTC Desire HD before, helped as
well. I wonder though, why would manufacturers do this to their appliances,
if it stops working after a month of use...
