Elisha Yang: This probably my favorite gundam by far, can't wait to get my wing gundam.
manutd5109: Could you cut the stickers on the booster to make it easier
yen yi: I wish Sei could build a custom zeta or exia, that would be awesome
AgaiLazen: I really like the build booster, despite the horrid sticker use. Sure, it
looks bad, but (at least in the solo release) you can attach it to any HG
1/144 Gundam kit ever released.
While the manual that came with the solo release shows specific kits that
work with it, more fun is had with mixing it with other kits. I find it
works best with the Blue Destiny II, though the shades of blue will just
slightly be off.
Zachary Tan: Nice
deathtoad88: I think the backpack and pistol(?) are the most interesting parts to me.
yichl: Well, HLJ for me gets the stuff here within about a week (I prefer the
faster shipping options, I lose track otherwise). I recently found out that
Barnes & Noble sell Gundam models, could be worth checking out.
4SidedStar: It's just a high grade, not a master grade, you can't expect them to put so
much plastic in without raising the price. Besides, you can paint it.
supergeno128ds: Oh I am too! I made it a point to collect every 1/144 ms from and related
to the RGM line. (Doin pretty good so far! Missing the HGUC GM Commando and
Wagtail from memory...) I'd love to see a MG Jegan, or some suits that
SHOULD have HG kits but for some odd reason DON'T...
masterds64: In blogs I've seen they had adapters, but most hg's are simply enough with
the exception of stuff thats older than 2000 made kits. Newer ones are made
for ease of kitbashing so this wont be an issue
duo2nd: Robert, you did forget that the Build Booster can attach to the Real Grade
Strike Gundam, that's why there's a flat connector included.
yichl: Well, actually, I meant the bad guy models that I have (MG Zaku J type, MG
Casval Gundam, and HG G. Zulu, Zaku II, Gelgoog, and Ginn) are outnumbered
by my good guys (MG GM Ground Type, HG Shining Gundam, GM Command, 3
Genoace IIs, 2 GM IIIs, and a 1/100 Hardygun). Kinda stumped as to what to
get next...been meaning to get more Zeons, but also more main characters
(only got Char and Domon). I wanna get something from this year, and
yet...so much cool older models. Like the MG Dom and 1.0 GM.
mjinrak: are the adapters for the other hg kits included? or the stand alone
backpack has them? i dont think i saw it form your plates part, but on the
other pics i saw on the backpack it has adapters, does this kit comes
included with it?
supergeno128ds: HLJ is good, but sometimes you need a model RIGHT NOW! XD Amazon has a
bunch of models (that cycle in and out naturally) and if you're lucky, you
can use Amazon Prime to gett free two-day shipping. Since I live in the US,
it usually takes about a MONTH for a model to ship from Japan. SAL shipping
is a pain...
JXTRGunpla747: awesomesauce :3
Ssj Ichigo: wonder if this will get a master grade in the next year or 2
Tsuyoshi Hariyoshi: I would love to make a Real Grade Conversion
gundam bro: Its not yet available in my area
GNSquacker: I feel like the new HG Strike will just end up being a remold of this
Mustangman03gt: 1/144 Skygrasper was first released in the EX lineup, not RG....
TaurusOxford: Rrobbert, we're actually getting a 2.0 HGCE Aile Strike. ;)
yichl: Reckon an actual hobby knife would help, too... My choices tend to be
fueled by on-the-spot reactions (namely, either going "OH I WANT THIS ALL
OF A SUDDEN" and checking the price for it"), or by going through a list of
what's in stock and picking what I like best. Honestly, I've never tried
Amazon, I always use HLJ (save for my first handful of purchases, which
david burotte: your right the show is awesome
Touphi L. Touphi: Honestly, even beside the sticker issue, I'm a bit miffed they went with
another Strike as the lead in this show. I just don't like the design at
all... the proportions seem totally off in both shows and on the model.
Chest is just way too bulky. Hope we get a mid-season upgrade, and SOON!
Jason li: Is like age 3 that you explain that big?
tucker odonnell: I mean high grades
yichl: And yet the Zaku I MG can't get one. ...Or most grunts just GETTING an MG.
"Want more Gundam Wing? Sure, have all the main characters! What? A Leo?
freak you, bahahahaha!" It wouldn't be too hard to make a Gun-Ez or
Gunblaster from the MG Victory, either. ...Then again, I'm a bit of a grunt
scanprod: Its official, Build Strike looks so much cooler
TurnBox88: those old HG's.. very dissapointing..
supergeno128ds: For the latter, it merely takes experience and practice. For the former, I
prefer to make a list of models by priority (how much I like the MS in
question,) price, and availability. It makes no sense to commit to buy a
certain model if its not available- or only available now at an inflated
price. This is usually why I wait a while before ordering newly released
kits. When they first come out the prices are badly inflated. Just wait a
few weeks and it'll be for retail price on Amazon.com.
Nicholas Maz: This will probably be remolded into the new Hg build strike
Mark Khoo: Can't wait for the Fenice!
Mike The Gamer: ugh, more damn stickers.
Touphi L. Touphi: And more on-topic, the Build Strike's head totally blows away the Strike's.
The latter induces cringing with its super-awkward v-fin.
yichl: Well, my basis for getting a model is what I decide would be cool at the
time. (And I'm a bit of a Zeon fan...even though for some reason the
Federation models far outnumber the Zeon ones.) And then there's some
models that just don't get lucky enough to get any sort of (well,
worthwhile) models, like the Jenice and Daughtress from Gundam X, who only
got LM versions that frankly sucked worse than AG models.
iCards: wish granted HG Strike 2.0 coming
tucker odonnell: And the build booster should have some adapters so it can be attached to
viet411: Bandai announced it a day ago. Coming Jan or Feb next year.
solidsnake2112: two handed beam rifle, drool!!!
AAE12: The head of the build strike gundam is cool! And by the way their remake
the high grade strike gundam!
supergeno128ds: Woa woa WOA! First off, Zeon models WAY outnumber Feddie models. There are
53 Federation HGUC kits (not counting AEUG and Titans) and 69 Zeon kits!
And thats just HGUC! There are only 8 MG GM models, while Zeon has a
whopping 46! 17 of which are Zakus! Us feddie grunt lovers have the short
end of the stick here! Although, I DO have to agree with you on the Jenice
and Daughtress... I'd pick one of those up if they weren't so PRICEY (I can
deal with crappiness...)
yichl: Ah, and that's my problem; indecision. I always get stuck with choosing
what to get next. (Also, I have a nasty habit of when cleaning up nubs, I
accidentally cut in to and carve out a large chunk of a torso's front
supergeno128ds: Ah, I see. For recommendations, there are too many to list! ^_^; Just go
for something you like!
Christian Hahn: It's that annoying feeling when you look at a model, covered in stickers,
and looking at all those places where the stickers could've been just
supergeno128ds: You want an HG 2.0 Strike? You're getting one! ...even though we already
have a RG Strike...
