Ed Siefert: ~~~~~~~ HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ~~~~~~~ In April 2013, we bought an Elite Wood patio cover from Jeff Shore of Patio Warehouse. There were several flaws, the worst of which was loud noises that they called “popping.” We made numerous calls to Jeff and others at Patio Warehouse only to be told that it wasn’t convenient for them to come to our house; or they would schedule an appointment but not show up. This went on for months until we involved the manufacturer, Metals USA, who ordered them to replace the cover. The second cover showed the same flaws and immediately made the same unbearable noises. We tried again for months to get this fixed until we couldn’t take it anymore. In June 2014, we took Patio Warehouse to Small Claims Court and won. They were ordered to remove the cover and refund the purchase price. Patio Warehouse had 30 days to appeal or to pay the judgment: they did neither. We gave them an additional 2 weeks, then reported Patio Warehouse to the California Contractors State License Board and began the collection process. They then paid immediately. The measure of a man is not how he acts when all goes well, but how he treats customers when problems arise. By this standard, Jeff Shore and Patio Warehouse fail miserably. They showed unbelievable disregard for this customer and didn’t care at all about the aggravation and sleep loss caused by this noisy patio cover.

HeyItsReign: Wat is het probleem met plastic? :P
John Salazar: I really love this boat. I am going to look for it at upcoming shows, I was a bit disappointed to see that they used IPS but not the glass roosterpit system? If you are going IPS, and it is definitely the way to go, then why not go all out with two (or three) 19" touch screen monitors? My other two nitpicks are no flybridge (with a hardtop) and the rear cover needs to extend all the way back over the roosterpit. They did not show the extendable awning in this video but that is kinda a joke. (if your going to do an awning it should drop down to keep people from looking into the boat when you are backed into a dock, not extended to block the sun when you are eating).
Jen Ritter: You just sound like you have absolutely no idea what you are doing.
